Der Verboten

Der Verboten's music swings between improvised music, contemporary jazz and experimental acoustic music.
In the course of their collaboration, the four musicians have developed a resolutely differentiated sound language. Although the ensemble works in a conceptual and highly structured way, the practice of improvisation remains at the centre of the ensemble, so that the music of Der Verboten can be experienced again and again in real time. The emphasis is on the collective exploration of timbres and unique structures. Concretely, they create dense textures in which each instrument coexists and functions as part of the ensemble.
Der Verboten's music is fluid. The four musicians create homogenous sound structures that are constantly changing without ever losing sight or hearing. The quartet's music offers a stimulating journey that challenges the listener's sound imagination and provides a real-time poetic experience.

Die Musik von Der Verboten changiert zwischen improvisierter Musik, zeitgenössischem Jazz und akustischer Experimentalmusik. Im Laufe der Zusammenarbeit haben die vier Musiker eine äusserst differenzierte Klangsprache entwickelt. Obwohl das Quartett konzeptuell und sehr strukturiert arbeitet, bleibt die Kunst der Improvisation für das Ensemble zentral, so dass die Musik von Der Verboten immer wieder neu und in Echtzeit erlebbar wird. Der Fokus liegt in der kollektiven Erforschung von Klangfarben und einzigartigen Strukturen.
Konkret werden dichte Texturen erzeugt, in denen jedes einzelne Instrument koexistiert und als Teil des Ganzen funktioniert. Die Musik von Der Verboten ist fluide. Die vier Musiker kreieren homogene Klanggebilde, die sich ständig verändern, ohne sich dabei jemals aus den Augen bzw. Ohren zu verlieren. Die Musik des Quartetts bietet eine anspruchsvolle Reise, welche die klangliche Imagination der Zuhörer fordert und eine poetische Echtzeiterfahrung mit sich bringt.
